Short version: Rush Orbit is a fully offline game. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. All data (scores, preferences) stays entirely on your device.

Rise and Roots ("we", "us", "our") built Rush Orbit as a free-to-play mobile game. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information when you use our app. By using Rush Orbit, you agree to this policy.

This policy is compliant with Google Play's Developer Policy requirements and applicable data protection regulations including GDPR and COPPA.

Information We Collect

Rush Orbit collects no personal information from its users. The game operates completely offline and does not communicate with any external servers.

Game Progress (Local only)
Your best score and leaderboard history are saved locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.

In-game settings such as first-launch state are stored locally. No preference data is transmitted externally.

Local Data Storage

Rush Orbit uses Android's SharedPreferences API to save the following data exclusively on your device:

Best Score
Your all-time highest score. Stored as a single integer locally.

Score History
A local leaderboard of up to 10 of your recent scores.

First Launch Flag
A boolean flag to identify the app's first run. Used for onboarding only.

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time from within the app under Settings → Reset All Progress, or by uninstalling the application.

Third-Party Services

Rush Orbit does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social features. There are no trackers of any kind.

The app does not include or use any of the following:

✗ Google Analytics / Firebase ✗ AdMob / Advertisement SDKs ✗ Facebook SDK ✗ Crashlytics ✗ Unity Ads ✗ AppsFlyer / Adjust ✗ Cloud save / sync

The only external dependency is the Flutter framework and Flame game engine, which are open-source libraries that do not collect any user data.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Rush Orbit is designed to be appropriate for all ages, including children under the age of 13. The app is listed as suitable for Everyone on the Google Play Store.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, the app is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

GDPR (EU) Compliance
No personal data is processed, so there is no legal basis required under GDPR. No cookies, consent banners, or data processing agreements are needed.

Google Play Families Policy
The app complies with Google Play's Families Policy. It contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no social features.

App Permissions

Rush Orbit requests the minimum permissions necessary to function. Below is a complete list of all Android permissions used:

Used only for optional haptic feedback during gameplay. No data is collected.
⚠️ Rush Orbit does not request permissions for: Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts, Storage, Phone State, or any other sensitive permission.

Data Deletion & Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times.

In-App Reset
Go to Settings → Reset All Progress inside the app to instantly delete all locally stored scores and preferences.

Uninstall
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently from your device.

Android Settings
Navigate to Android Settings → Apps → Rush Orbit → Storage → Clear Data to remove all app data.

Because we hold no data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. Your data belongs entirely to you, on your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For significant changes, we will provide a notice within the app or through the Google Play Store listing. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of Rush Orbit after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
